I strive to help my clients through a person-centered, multicultural and feminist mindset. I believe everyone is trying to do the best with the resources that they have. I enjoy helping clients build their resources and find empowerment. I believe it is important to understand yourself through your context to help build compassion and find healing. I value the importance of having an open mind and creating a space where my clients and I can be curious and nonjudgmental. I work at Diversus Health as a Clinician and as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator. I enjoy both aspects of my role in being able to directly serve individuals in El Paso County through achieving therapeutic goals, and being able to help Diversus Health and coworkers improve care and decrease suicide rates in our area. In my spare time I enjoy playing and watching football (soccer), planning and going on weekend getaways, or just looking at our beautiful mountains!
