Golf With A Purpose

Registration for our 2024 tournament is closed. 

 

This tournament aims to draw awareness to the increasingly important topic of mental health and working together as a community to expand access to quality mental and behavioral health care. To further that goal, we have partnered with Forge Evolution and We Fortify as beneficiaries of this year’s tournament.

 

Our keynote speaker will be Professional Golfer and Long Drive Champion, Maurice Allen.

Meet this Year's Beneficiaries

Forge Evolution focuses on improving resiliency and helping youth grow. Forge’s mission is to empower youth to develop resiliency through inspiration, accountability, and connection to create a stronger community.

We Fortify builds programmed communities that pivot young adults out of poverty into a state of economic stability and social connectedness.

Keynote Speaker: Maurice Allen, World Long Drive Champion

Maurice is a Professional Long Drive Competitor from Pine Hills, Florida.  Maurice attended Evans High School where he excelled academically and at sports.  After high school, Maurice attended Florida A&M University where he attained his Biology degree in 2010.  After graduating from FAMU, Maurice moved to Atlanta to become a chiropractor and attended Life University where he became a student of the game of golf.

Maurice is committed to giving back to his local community as well as to the game of golf. He dedicates his time to the Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association, which provides inner-city youth with the opportunity to learn the game of golf while attaining skills to succeed in life.

Maurice believes and lives the Muhammad Ali quote “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth” to the fullest extent.
