Adam Roberts currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Diversus Health, a community mental health center with operations across El Paso, Park, and Teller Counties. Mr. Roberts has held his current role since May of 2019. During his tenure at Diversus Health, Mr. Roberts has focused on developing a vision and strategy, restructuring the organization, improving internal and external stakeholders experience, and improving service delivery and operations. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Roberts oversaw the organization’s shift to a telehealth model of outpatient services in a span of 48-hours, minimizing the disruption of services to communities.

About Me
Adam Roberts currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Diversus Health, a community mental health center with operations across El Paso, Park, and Teller Counties. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Roberts oversaw the organization’s shift to a telehealth model of outpatient services in a span of 48-hours, minimizing the disruption of services to communities. Committed to positioning the organization for long-term success through leveraging stakeholder experience as a differentiator, Mr. Roberts has led a shift in culture to position the organization to be more client-centric. This included overseeing a comprehensive rebranding initiative that transitions the name of the organization from AspenPointe to Diversus Health.
Mr. Roberts currently serves as an executive board member of Community Health Partnership, a Colorado Springs based non-profit focused on improving overall community health in El Paso County and was recently selected to the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute.
Before being selected as Diversus Health’s President and CEO, Mr. Roberts served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Valley-Wide Health Systems Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center in Southern Colorado. He was responsible for the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan as well as the development of the organization’s behavioral health service line, which moved it toward operating fully-integrated healthcare clinics.
Prior to serving as Valley-Wide’s COO, Mr. Roberts worked as a senior staff member with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) health care system both in Texas and in Colorado, where he was recognized as an improvement expert and is credited with saving millions of dollars for the VHA health care system while improving patient care and patient experience.
Mr. Roberts is a Colorado native and grew up in Alamosa before moving to Denver, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Cum Laude) with an emphasis in International Business, Marketing, and Finance from Regis University. He received a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, where he is now a board member on the Colorado Health Administration Alumni Association and facilitates an executive mentorship program.
Additionally, Mr. Roberts received Black Belt and Master Black Belt training in Lean Six Sigma at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Texas, and, more recently, completed the 2018 UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program.

About Me
Kevin Light oversees the Financial Operations at Diversus Health and in his leadership capacity, provides timely and accurate financial information to guide the company’s financial strategy and positioning. Additionally, Mr. Light’s responsibilities include the protection of Diversus Health assets and allocating appropriate resources to meet the Diversus Health Mission, Vision, and Strategic Initiatives. Mr. Light has been with the company for over 14 years and was drawn to not-for-profit work that supports a strong mission. Being presented with an opportunity to help people positively change their lives was a motivating factor when he joined the organization, and this passion still drives his work today. Mr. Light completed his graduate coursework in Database Designs in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in 1991 from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. He enjoys golf, fishing and being in the mountains during his spare time.

About Me
Dr. Melhem is passionate about improving the way mental health care is delivered. He brings a wealth of experience in developing and leading mental health services across medically underserved communities. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, he completed his psychiatric residency training at the University of New Mexico followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard’s Massachusetts General and McLean Hospitals. He carries a Master-of-Medical Management degree (MMM) from Carnegie Mellon University and achieved the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) credential through the American Association for Physician Leadership. He is board-certified in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and addiction medicine. Dr. Melhem has published book chapters on the subject of cultural sensitivity in mental health. His clinical interests include psychopharmacology and the management of severe mental health disorders. He serves as a preceptor for medical student education at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Colorado Springs branch. He is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), the American Association for Physician Leadership (AAPL) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

About Me
Ms. Kell provides leadership in the development and implementation of the strategy that underlies all outpatient clinical programing. She is responsible for monitoring day-to-day clinical services, ensuring Diversus Health meets standards of care and preferred practice protocols. Ms. Kell also provides administrative and programmatic direction to align and unify outpatient clinical services with the rest of the Diversus Health care delivery system and ensure that the company meets our regulatory, compliance, and accreditation requirements. Her goal is to ensure we provide the highest quality and best access to outpatient clinical services and that the Diversus Health care teams are equipped to do their work with excellence. As a clinician, Ms. Kell is a curious and creative person. She enjoys exploring opportunity, challenging the status quo, leading through relationship, and blending solid clinical practice with functional business systems that make organizational change and personal growth possible. Ms. Kell is also a huge dog fan and has always done life with one by her side. She also loves reading and does a lot of it and when she is near water. Ms. Kell has also traveled a lot in her life, which gives her an opportunity to keep her language skills sharp.

About Me
Marco Antillon joined Diversus Health in October of 2019 as the Chief Experience Officer. In his role, Mr. Antillon works as a catalyst to inform change that aligns the organization with its mission, vision, and values and improves the overall stakeholder experience for clients, employees, and community partners. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Mr. Antillon brings a clinical perspective to his role and leverages his years as a practicing therapist to drive systemic changes to improve experiences for all stakeholders. He was originally drawn to Diversus Health out of a desire to be part of a team that was working to decrease stigma around mental health and improve services being provided to the community. He is a champion of the diverse experiences each individual brings to Diversus Health and looks for ways to leverage those experiences to each individual’s benefit. Mr. Antillon completed his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Regis University in 2015. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology from Colorado Mesa University. He enjoys spending time with loved ones, continued learning, weight lifting, and working on his old pickup truck.

About Me
Juan Recinos has served in a variety of leadership roles in both private for-profit and non-for-profit mental health companies over the past 15 years. He has led both inpatient hospital and outpatient multispecialty centers from an Operations and Strategic standpoint. Mr. Recinos has started and led several private outpatient centers through maturation and been advisor to medical device companies in the transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) arena. He has put all this experience to work at Diversus Health to help better serve our communities. Anyone that knows Juan, knows that he loves data and enjoys digging into the nuts and bolts of issues in order to extract solutions. He is driven by lean methodology where service lines are developed in a purposeful way that meets patient needs and can be scaled over time. Mr. Recinos holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration from Chapman University as well as specialized training in Machine Learning & Data Analytics from MIT as well as several other degrees. Juan had the pleasure of servicing as a Medic in the US Air Force between 1998 – 2002. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his wife (Erin) and son (Jonathan) exploring new foods and cultures.

About Me
E.J. Rickey oversees marketing and communications across Diversus Health and was responsible for overseeing the development of the Diversus Health brand, in addition to overseeing the brand’s implementation. Mr. Rickey joined the Diversus Health team in July of 2019 and has largely focused on modernizing communication systems and strategy to enhance the experience of Diversus Health stakeholders. Mr. Rickey’s approach to marketing, branding and communications is stakeholder centric and driven through a desire to leverage various mediums and platforms to provide quality content and education around services. Through education comes increased confidence in those services, and within the mental health industry, an opportunity for stakeholders to live a fuller, happier life. Mr. Rickey has worked to integrate the communications of Diversus Health across all mediums in a strategic format that provides clarity and ease in obtaining info around Diversus and its focus areas. Mr. Rickey completed a Digital Marketing Certification Program from the Yale School of Management in the Fall of 2020 and also holds a Master of Communication Management Degree from the University of Southern California. He also graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Gonzaga University. As a Colorado native, he enjoys skiing, an activity in which he has a moderate amount of skill. He also enjoys playing golf, an activity in which he has zero amount of skill.

About Me
Timea Kennedy is the Vice President of Human Resources at Diversus Health. She is responsible for leading all people functions, with a focus on developing and executing recruiting, talent development, performance management, workforce planning and employee relations strategies that represent the organization’s culture and values. She oversees HR programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and partners with leaders across the organization. In her leadership role, she serves as a business partner to the Diversus Health Executive Team involving strategic human resources planning, talent acquisition and employee development. Ms. Kennedy has over 20 years of human resources management experience with 12 years in leadership roles. Prior to joining Diversus Health, she was the Director of Human Resources for Centura Health, a healthcare system that included 17 hospitals, 14 affiliate hospitals, health neighborhoods, and over 100+ physician practices and clinics in Colorado and Kansas. Prior to working in healthcare, she dispersed human resources experience including Fortune 500 companies, government contracting and manufacturing. Timea received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources degree in 2000 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 2008. She is currently attending Tulane University Law School’s Labor and Employment Law Program. In addition, Ms. Kennedy is a graduate of the Centura Health Executive Residency Program. Timea is recipient of several certifications and continuing education credits, including CMHR Change Management for Human Resources Certification, SHRBP Strategic Human Resources Business Partner Certification, Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor, Certified Professional Recruiter and Alternative Dispute Resolution Certification. About Me
Mary Ellen Benson was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder for her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, graduating in 1989. She went on to pursue her graduate studies at the University of Colorado Health Sciences, where her program focused on physical therapy. She obtained her advanced degree in 1991. At Diversus Health, Ms. Benson oversees the provision of care by ensuring we engage the best leaders, providers, and staff to support our clients each day. She works closely with community partners to support needs focused on access and coordination. Ms. Benson strategizes unique solutions to care issues and develops initiatives aimed to partner with and improve the health of our community. She is a six-year NAMI board member, supporting programming and efforts to combat the mental health stigma. Ms. Benson chose to pursue her career at Diversus Health because it offers her a unique opportunity to integrate her expertise and experience in physical healthcare by creating a platform for comprehensive whole person care, bringing together the mind and body. Beyond her work at Diversus Health, Ms. Benson spends her time hiking in the mountains, skiing, and walking throughout her neighborhood. She enjoys listening to live music, especially traditional jazz, playing games, and sharing mealtimes with her husband and two daughters.

About Me
Katie Blickenderfer was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in 2008 with a degree in social work and psychology, before continuing at UNI for her graduate studies in social work until 2009. Ms. Blickenderfer participated in the Allen Hospital Inpatient residency program following her graduation. At Diversus Health, Ms. Blickenderfer oversees our outpatient mental health and substance use services. As the Vice President of Clinical Services, her work focuses on programming initiatives and projects that help to improve and expand our counseling services provided to individuals in our community. She chose to pursue her career at Diversus Health because her passion for social work draws her to the mental health community for which she is grateful to have the opportunity to engage. Ms. Blickenderfer welcomes the occasions when she can walk alongside our clients who are undergoing the recovery process. She is thankful to have learned so much in her ten years at Diversus Health, in various roles of direct care and leadership, and she looks forward to continuing to transform the care we provide to individuals within our community. Mark Vogtner was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Georgia State University, where he received his degree in information systems and business administration, in 1984. His role at Diversus Health revolves around all aspects of information technology and how it is utilized to serve our organization’s mission. Mr. Vogtner chose to pursue his career at Diversus Health because it is a community-focused organization, dedicated to helping those in need. He appreciates the unique opportunity to work in the field of Healthcare IT (HIT), where there is a need for more utilization of information technology with MRI’s, CAT scans, and a myriad of lab test options. Mr. Vogtner is excited that the value for health information is getting recognized, especially for decision-making, improving delivery of care, and achieving healthier lives. In his free time, Mr. Vogtner enjoys spending time with his family, listening to jazz, and playing LEGOS with his son. His hobbies include working on classic cars and learning all types of technology such as computers, electronics, home automation systems, audio/video, music/recording.

Mr. Porter’s role at Diversus Health focuses on ensuring community members have ample access to our behavioral healthcare services in a timely and convenient manner. He chose to pursue his career at Diversus Health because he desires to be part of an organization that makes a difference in our community. Gene Contreras was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis on finance, in 1990. He later went on to study at the University of Washington, Pacific Coast Banking School, where he obtained his master’s degree in banking, in 2003. At Diversus Health, Mr. Contreras oversees the Accounting Department and Revenue Cycle Management, as well as their key components, including accounts payable, medical billing, and budgeting/forecasting. He also supervises the Purchasing Department and Contract Administration for Diversus Health. Mr. Contreras chose to pursue his career at Diversus Health because the organization is instrumental to the history of Colorado Springs and is a key community asset. He enjoys working with caring professionals who aspire to give back, while improving our community. In his free time, Mr. Contreras enjoys being a competitive open racquetball player. His favorite pastimes include skiing, hiking, and hanging out with his family and friends.

Andrea Campbell, MSN, RN

About Me
Born in Nebraska, Andrea Campbell was raised as a military dependent with family members in the Air Force. She attended Montana State University for her nursing degree, graduating in 2007, before pursuing her graduate studies at Walden University for Nursing Informatics. She obtained her master’s degree in 2012. At Diversus Health, Ms. Campbell is responsible for overseeing the Performance Improvement Program, which includes providing direction and coordination of quality assurance, data analytics, and project/performance management initiatives. She coordinates planned, systemic, and institutional approaches for identification, design, measurement, prioritization, and monitoring of quality initiatives to achieve quality outcomes. Additionally, Ms. Campbell establishes and implements performance improvement methodologies to elevate operational and client care services, while working to diminish errors. Ms. Campbell chose to pursue her career with Diversus Health in order to utilize her unique skills and experience in the behavioral and mental health field. She offers diverse experiences in a variety of fields, including nursing, health care, information technology, quality assurance, and process improvements. In her free time, Ms. Campbell enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children, and her dogs. Her hobbies include traveling, camping, fishing, snowboarding, playing horseshoes, as well as fostering rescue dogs.
