Adam Roberts currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Diversus Health, a community mental health center with operations across El Paso, Park, and Teller Counties. Mr. Roberts has held his current role since May of 2019. During his tenure at Diversus Health, Mr. Roberts has focused on developing a vision and strategy, restructuring the organization, improving internal and external stakeholders experience, and improving service delivery and operations. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Roberts oversaw the organization’s shift to a telehealth model of outpatient services in a span of 48-hours, minimizing the disruption of services to communities.

About Me
Adam Roberts currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Diversus Health, a community mental health center with operations across El Paso, Park, and Teller Counties. Mr. Roberts has held his current role since May of 2019. During his tenure at Diversus Health, Mr. Roberts has focused on developing a vision and strategy, restructuring the organization, improving internal and external stakeholders experience, and improving service delivery and operations. In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Roberts oversaw the organization’s shift to a telehealth model of outpatient services in a span of 48-hours, minimizing the disruption of services to communities. Committed to positioning the organization for long-term success through leveraging stakeholder experience as a differentiator, Mr. Roberts has led a shift in culture to position the organization to be more client-centric. This included overseeing a comprehensive rebranding initiative that transitions the name of the organization from AspenPointe to Diversus Health.
Mr. Roberts currently serves as an executive board member of Community Health Partnership, a Colorado Springs based non-profit focused on improving overall community health in El Paso County and was recently selected to the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute.
Before being selected as Diversus Health’s President and CEO, Mr. Roberts served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Valley-Wide Health Systems Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center in Southern Colorado. He was responsible for the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan as well as the development of the organization’s behavioral health service line, which moved it toward operating fully-integrated healthcare clinics.
Prior to serving as Valley-Wide’s COO, Mr. Roberts worked as a senior staff member with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) health care system both in Texas and in Colorado, where he was recognized as an improvement expert and is credited with saving millions of dollars for the VHA health care system while improving patient care and patient experience.
Mr. Roberts is a Colorado native and grew up in Alamosa before moving to Denver, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Cum Laude) with an emphasis in International Business, Marketing, and Finance from Regis University. He received a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, where he is now a board member on the Colorado Health Administration Alumni Association and facilitates an executive mentorship program.
Additionally, Mr. Roberts received Black Belt and Master Black Belt training in Lean Six Sigma at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, Texas, and, more recently, completed the 2018 UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program.

About Me
Kevin Light oversees the Financial Operations at Diversus Health and in his leadership capacity, provides timely and accurate financial information to guide the company’s financial strategy and positioning. Additionally, Mr. Light’s responsibilities include the protection of Diversus Health assets and allocating appropriate resources to meet the Diversus Health Mission, Vision, and Strategic Initiatives. Mr. Light has been with the company for over 14 years and was drawn to not-for-profit work that supports a strong mission. Being presented with an opportunity to help people positively change their lives was a motivating factor when he joined the organization, and this passion still drives his work today. Mr. Light completed his graduate coursework in Database Designs in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance in 1991 from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. He enjoys golf, fishing and being in the mountains during his spare time.

About Me
Cathy has lived in Colorado Springs for 30 years and is a Colorado native. She grew up in Pueblo and the San Luis Valley. She attended Regis University, earning her undergraduate degree in finance then pursuing an MBA from Grand Canyon University (GCU), and in April 2022 completed a Master’s in organizational psychology from GCU. Cathy had recently been a member of Health Colorado, Inc., the Medicaid regional accountable entity for Southeastern Colorado, Region 4 serving 19 rural and frontier counties. In her role at Health Colorado, Inc she served as Chief Operations Officer. Cathy has prior community mental health experience working for San Luis Valley Behavioral Health Group as the Chief Financial Officer and at Solvista Health as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering in the community. She previously served on the Board of Directors with Pikes Peak Children’s Museum and with NAMI. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for Southern Colorado Harm Reduction. Her hobbies include spending time with family, travel, baking, and cooking.

About Me
Scott Martin has over 30 years of IT experience, mostly in the healthcare field, but has experience in the telecommunications, logistics and software technology industries. Most recently he was the Chief Information Officer at the Alabama Department of Mental Health. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology from the University of Alabama, and a Master's in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. Scott has a wife and son, and enjoys tennis, golf, skiing, diving, biking, and martial arts.

About Me
Katie Blickenderfer was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in 2008 with a degree in social work and psychology, before continuing at UNI for her graduate studies in social work until 2009. Ms. Blickenderfer participated in the Allen Hospital Inpatient residency program following her graduation. At Diversus Health, Ms. Blickenderfer oversees our outpatient mental health and substance use services. As the Chief Clinical Officer, her work focuses on programming initiatives and projects that help to improve and expand our counseling services provided to individuals in our community. She chose to pursue her career at Diversus Health because her passion for social work draws her to the mental health community for which she is grateful to have the opportunity to engage. Ms. Blickenderfer welcomes the occasions when she can walk alongside our clients who are undergoing the recovery process. She is thankful to have learned so much in her ten years at Diversus Health, in various roles of direct care and leadership, and she looks forward to continuing to transform the care we provide to individuals within our community. Beyond her work with Diversus Health, Ms. Blickenderfer enjoys doing puzzles, playing board games, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and hiking, biking, and running in the great outdoors.

About Me
Gene Contreras was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis on finance, in 1990. He later went on to study at the University of Washington, Pacific Coast Banking School, where he obtained his master’s degree in banking, in 2003. At Diversus Health, Mr. Contreras oversees the Accounting Department and Revenue Cycle Management, as well as their key components, including accounts payable, medical billing, and budgeting/forecasting. He also supervises the Purchasing Department and Contract Administration for Diversus Health. Mr. Contreras chose to pursue his career at Diversus Health because the organization is instrumental to the history of Colorado Springs and is a key community asset. He enjoys working with caring professionals who aspire to give back, while improving our community. In his free time, Mr. Contreras enjoys being a competitive open racquetball player. His favorite pastimes include skiing, hiking, and hanging out with his family and friends.

About Me
Born in Nebraska, Andrea Campbell was raised as a military dependent with family members in the Air Force. She attended Montana State University for her nursing degree, graduating in 2007, before pursuing her graduate studies at Walden University for Nursing Informatics. She obtained her master’s degree in 2012. At Diversus Health, Ms. Campbell is responsible for overseeing the Performance Improvement Program, which includes providing direction and coordination of quality assurance, data analytics, and project/performance management initiatives. She coordinates planned, systemic, and institutional approaches for identification, design, measurement, prioritization, and monitoring of quality initiatives to achieve quality outcomes. Additionally, Ms. Campbell establishes and implements performance improvement methodologies to elevate operational and client care services, while working to diminish errors. Ms. Campbell chose to pursue her career with Diversus Health in order to utilize her unique skills and experience in the behavioral and mental health field. She offers diverse experiences in a variety of fields, including nursing, health care, information technology, quality assurance, and process improvements. In her free time, Ms. Campbell enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children, and her dogs. Her hobbies include traveling, camping, fishing, snowboarding, playing horseshoes, as well as fostering rescue dogs.

About Me
Rebecca McCay was born in La Junta, Colorado and was raised in Colorado Springs. Her educational journey includes Pikes Peak Community College where she received her Associate's Degree in Nursing, UCCS Bethel School of Nursing where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, University of Phoenix where she received her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Administration, and Grand Canyon University where she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has worked in community healthcare over the last 18 years as a nurse and an executive operational leader. Dr. McCay oversees the Inpatient Acute Treatment Unit, Outpatient Psychiatry, Transitional Care Coordination, Nursing Programing, and Infection Control for Diversus Health. As the Vice President of Nursing she strives to collaborate with the community and connect community members in need to appropriate services. In her free time she enjoys being a grandma and spending time with friends and family.
