Bethany Disney – MS

Education & Credentials:

Bachelor’s in Psychology, Arizona State University

Master’s in Clinical Counseling, Grand Canyon University

About Me:

My name is Bethany Disney; I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I have found a passion for working with teens, young adults, parents, and families that are experiencing some of the many challenges life can present. I provide trauma informed care using a wide array of empirically supported approaches, tools, and skills to address client needs and promote healing. In true Disney fashion, I want all of my clients to fully engage in and enjoy living!

I was born in West Virginia and raised in Colorado. I spent about 10 years as a young adult in Arizona, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in religious studies. I currently live in Colorado Springs and have 2 adult children, 2 cats, and 1 spunky cocker spaniel. In my down time, I enjoy playing games, completing escape rooms, and crocheting.

The services here are great, even with the pandemic, we have continued to receive treatment via video conferencing. It has been wonderful. - Autumn
