About Me:

I am married with three step-kids living in the house. I have been working at Diversus Health for 7 years.I served as an U.S. Air Force officer and deployed to Afghanistan in 2008. I am a native of New York State and have lived in several other states, finally settling in Colorado in 2007. I still like New York pizza and sports but have really enjoyed what Colorado has to offer. Interests include music (singing, some instruments, writing), fishing, movies, hiking, biking, and gaming. I like animals and currently own a German shepherd and an African clawed frog. I became interested in psychology at a young age and did a lot of work on my own issues and became quite good at helping others so it made sense to become a counselor. I also understand the stigma attached to mental health struggles and am devoted to helping others overcome this.

I was broken and lost, not knowing which way to go or where to start. A friend called Diversus Health and I've been working with the great therapists there. It's going to be a long haul, but they have made me feel as though I matter and they will help. Thank you to all at Diversus Health. -Stephanie
