About Me:
I started working for Diversus Health in 2019, shortly after graduating from UNCO with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I gained a lot of experience here working with children/adolescents, families, and young adults. In 2021 I was able to apply for and receive my LPC license. During my time at Diversus Health, I have worked alongside several different teams, some specializing in family systems and trauma and others focusing on general mental health concerns amongst children and families. I have received many helpful trainings to grow my professional development and understanding of mental health, a few of those trainings were EMDR, DBT, CAMS, Yoga-CBT, 123 Magic, Trauma Systems Therapy, and more. As of 2023, I have taken a position with the Same Day Access team, we focus on getting new and returning clients enrolled in their desired services, whether it’s mental health, substance use, groups, psychiatry, and much more, in order to meet their needs. I enjoy being the first contact of clients, some have never done mental health or substance use treatment before and aren’t sure what to expect. I am able to offer empathy and compassion to their situation, while also providing them recommendations to evidenced based treatments. I believe everyone desires mental health treatment and I love being a part of their journey to wellness and self-care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active outdoors, whether it’s fishing, hiking, or taking the kiddos to the park. I have lived in Colorado for my entire life and still have so much more to explore.
