Janelle believes everyone has an identity and purpose. Everyone is searching for who they are and where their value and purpose lie. Janelle likes to think of her role as a gardener. You own the garden and she is coming alongside you with tools to pull out weeds, plant seeds, and help you process how you want your garden to look. You are in charge of the garden. Janelle offers tools, but ultimately the decision of how it will look is up to you. In the same way, this is your life and your story. She has tools to help you overcome pain and obstacles and to plant new seeds of hope. Janelle likes to take everyone into a deeper process. Our experiences, both good and bad, dictate our behaviors and coping mechanisms. She believes in using therapeutic techniques that take her clients from a pressing concern into a deeper level of awareness of their subconscious experiences so they can find healing.
Janelle chose Diversus Health because she enjoys catering to the whole family in a collaborative environment. She enjoys being able to work with various departments to build a holistic plan for a client’s healing. She also enjoys an environment that facilitates humor, challenges perspectives, and encourages growth.
In her free time, Janelle enjoys anything artsy. She likes to experiment with the many different types of art modalities. Janelle also loves people, and likes activities that bring her closer to her peers.
