About Me:
I am a licensed professional counselor. After working in both inpatient addiction facilities and in private practice, I have come to love trauma work. I am hoping to specialize in trauma treatment for adults in the future and am currently working on completing my certification in EMDR. I chose Diversus health because there are several opportunities to grow and develop professionally and personally within the Diversus community. I love to be able to continue to improve myself and assist others in doing the same. I am a person centered therapist and strive to make a human connection with everyone I interact with. I believe that working together we can get through anything life throws our way. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother with a love of music and outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family while engaging in community activities, camping and recreation. I also love music and play three instruments. I frequently have a “life” playlist going in my head through the day and use music to help with coping and motivation. Dance, swimming, gardening, and crafting are some of my hobbies.
