About Me:

My philosophy of care tends to be humanistic, focused on establishing a warm, safe environment for the client and providing genuine empathy. Also using a experiential approach such as equine therapy, bibliotherapy art and writing to allow a client to experience real time activities that allow the client to use what they learn in real life.

Working at Diversus Health allow me to work with a diverse population from youth to adults, people with physical disabilities and families as well as individual clients. I enjoy my coworkers and enjoy their professional and kindness they show to their clients and toward each other. It is an honor to work with such wonderful people.

Days when I am not at work, you will find me at the stables with my horse riding or simply visiting with my other fellow equestrians. I spend time reading any and everything from children’s picture books to history and romance. I enjoy writing short stories and cooking a variety of dishes, soul food to classic cuisine. I also enjoy baking bread or sweets of any type.

I've been seeing Blessing Fitzgerald for three years. I was at my lowest point when I first met her. She has used her amazing personality and education to help me become mentally stable. She taught me ways to cope that allow me to be less dependent on medication. Thank you, Blessing! - Client
