Ayonna Chappell – LPC

Education & Credentials:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Pittsburg State University

Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Capella University

About Me:

I am both a social worker and a therapist who is dedicated to helping people. I work to build a relationship with individuals through being genuine, open, calm, and non-judgmental. I work with individuals to increase their mindfulness and awareness on behaviors which are ineffective or interfering. My goal is to support clients in challenging themselves to learn skills that help them to embrace their best life. I chose Diversus Health because I have a passion for working in community mental health and working with underserved communities. Outside of work, my most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family doing just about anything. I enjoy taking walks, listening to music, food, and love taking a peaceful quiet drive when I can. A new found interest of mine has been learning how to play the piano.

These are the services and common symptoms I see during my clinical work at Diversus Health:

I was broken and lost, not knowing which way to go or where to start. A friend called Diversus Health and I've been working with the great therapists there. It's going to be a long haul, but they have made me feel as though I matter and they will help. Thank you to all at Diversus Health. -Stephanie
