About Me:

I am a clinical social worker working in the crisis department at the Lighthouse Crisis Walk-in Center. I am very passionate about offering empathy and support during the most difficult times in a person’s life. Meeting someone where they are at and offering empathy and validation is so important to me and a huge part of my philosophy of care. I have been working in the mental health field since 2009 and have worked in a variety of organizations including a local women’s shelter, the state hospital, the local jail and the Office of Alternative Defense Council. I love the work that I do and all of the amazing individuals that I come in contact with on a daily basis. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, doing yoga, cooking, and enjoying the beautiful Colorado sunshine.

I was broken and lost, not knowing which way to go or where to start. A friend called Diversus Health and I've been working with the great therapists there. It's going to be a long haul, but they have made me feel as though I matter and they will help. Thank you to all at Diversus Health. -Stephanie
